On 18th October 2025, beneath the golden arches of St. Paul’s Cathedral, voices and melodies rose together in a shared celebration of hope. MA’ TA’ : Hope, Literature, Music gathered poets, musicians, and storytellers in a dialogue between faith, culture, and creativity, marking the Jubilee of Culture within the Year of Hope.

From heartfelt readings by Maria Grech Ganado, Immanuel Mifsud, Clare Azzopardi, and other leading Maltese writers, to the soul-stirring acoustic performance by Etnika Malta featuring cellist Matthias Conrad, the event unfolded as a living tapestry of sound and word.

Curated by Artistic Director Annalisa Schembri, with the support of Andrew Borg Wirth and Sera Galea from the Office of the Archbishop’s Delegate for Culture, MA’ TA’ embodied a collective act of remembrance and renewal a moment where hope was not only spoken, but felt.

This event was supported by APS Bank and the Mdina Metropolitan Chapter.
