The iconic Christmas Chapel Hop, organised annually by The New Victorians, returned in 2024 with a collaborative spirit. This year’s edition brought together choir members from diverse communities, creating a multicultural ensemble.
Celebrated for its reimagining of local hymns and carols, the Chapel Hop has become a standout in Malta’s festive calendar, blending music with the island’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. In collaboration with the Archbishop’s Delegate for Culture, the 2024 edition spanned four historic churches across Malta, with the sister duo joined by a newly-formed community choir.
The result? Five sold-out shows, each offering a moving celebration of Christmas rooted in tradition and unity.
